Vehicle-access pass during Durga Puja
Agartala's traffic arrangements include special vehicle passes for authorised people who need to enter designated No Entry zones. This is a traffic and vehicle-movement pass; it is not a general ticket for visiting pandals.
- Traffic window: 17–20 October 2026, 5 pm–1 am, subject to adjustment by traffic police.
- Who may be eligible: people on duty in emergency services, police, administration, TSR, fire service, SIB, media, pharmacy work and designated puja-committee roles, plus other authorised emergency work.
- Using a pass: issued passes must be displayed on the left side of the vehicle windshield and are not transferable.

How to apply
We have not verified an official online application link. The traffic-police announcement says that a pass webpage is being built with the state IT department.
- Use only the process published by the Traffic Police or another designated government authority.
- Provide the vehicle and duty details requested by that authority.
- Wait for approval before driving into a restricted zone.

What about a pandal visiting or VIP pass?
Ask individual committees
A club may choose to offer guest invitations or special access, but a pass from one pandal should not be assumed to work at another. Confirm directly with the organising committee before making plans or paying anyone.
