Terminals for trucks and goods carriers
Trucks and other heavy goods vehicles will be held at these terminals, mostly on the Agartala bypass side:
- Amtali bypass
- Khayerpur bypass
- Madhabbari
- Lichubagan
- Border Gol Chakkar area
Who can enter with a pass
Special passes will be issued to people on duty, including emergency services, police, administration, TSR, fire service, SIB, media, pharmacy workers and designated members of puja committees. Passes go on the left side of the windshield and can't be transferred. A webpage for passes is being built with the state IT department. We will link it here when it is live.
Uniformed Swiggy and Zomato delivery staff, airline staff, and air passengers carrying travel documents will be allowed into specific zones.
Catching a flight or train?
Air and train passengers will have to use designated routes. The detailed route map has not been released yet, and we will add it here as soon as it is. Leave early on puja evenings.
Tips for pandal hopping in Agartala
- Start early. Getting into the city before 5 pm is easier than queuing at a drop point later.
- Choose pandals that are close together and walk between them. Build your list with the route planner.
- Agree a meeting point with your group and keep your phone charged. Crowds are heaviest late in the evening.
- Check the latest hours before you leave, because they may change.
